Anything by the XX is always ideal fodder for remixing, and Edu Imbernon did such an incredible job with this one that years later it’s still not tired to me despite excessively repeated rinsing. This jaunty remix picks up the mood with an upbeat, super-danceable and infectious energy, complimenting the beautiful duet vocals. I can’t help but to totally lose it at 4:25 when the strumming guitar notes and subtle violin-like pads kick in, and the brief piano bit closes it out nicely. This one is definitely a personal favourite of mine.
